Honnemaradu

                    Honnemaradu is a secluded village located near the beautiful and spread-out Shravathi River reservoir. This small little town covered by lush green thickets is one of the most offbeat places to visit under the Shimoga Tourist places. This sleepy little hamlet covers a distance of 50km by 80 km and is surrounded by the silent waters of the Sharavati River's backwaters.It also has a lake named 'Honnemaradu,' which translates to 'Golden Lake.' The sunrise and sunset views are amongst the most picturesque views I have ever witnessed or heard of, without a chance to experience them within the city or elsewhere. You can undertake hiking, boating, canoeing, kayaking, and wind rafting, along with several other travel groups who will be happy to undertake such activities.
