Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary

                        Thattekkad Bird Sanctuary  is a paradise for bird watchers and bird darlings and is a significant traveler objective in Idukki. If you are or are not one of them, do run to this bird shelter by Dr. Salim Ali himself. He is a famous Ornithologist. This safe-haven houses more than 500 unique cases like Bee-Eater, Black-Winged Kite, Jungle Fowl, Shrike, Falcon-Gray, Sun Bird, Ceylon Frog Mouth, Night Heron, Blue-Winged Parakeet, and the rundown doesn't end. What's more, that is not entirely there are plenty as many creatures and reptiles that call this spot home.
