Connected to an ample garden, the large terrace and the first floor lounge are bathed in natural light throughout the day and meticulously illuminated at night. Spacious and luxurious rooms await you, and East and West blend in a unique gastronomic experience. As soon as you step out, you experience the astonishingly diverse flora and fauna of the region in our very own garden. Discover the about twenty different sorts of fruits and vegetables that are growing organically on bushes and trees on our property, and which we are incorporating into our cuisine. Well be delighted to show you around. Periyar Birds Nido is located very close to the world famous Periyar Tiger Reserve. Within walking distance you will find an Elephant Camp where you can experience the gentle giants from close up, evening folklore shows like the Musical Fountain, the art form Kathakali, Kalari (Martial Art), the base for the Jungle Jeep Safari, as well as a school for the children of the tribal people, which has such a good reputation, that also the others send their children to study there.    Read More >>
