Nishat Garden
Sister of Nur Jahan, Asif Khan,
was established in 1633. Nishat Garden is the second largest of all Mughal
gardens. Shortened as the "Garden of Bliss," the Nishant Garden is a
splendid 12-terraced garden soaring under multiple majestic Chinar trees. The
garden is home to a central water channel and several beautiful fountains.Although
the Nishat Garden is based on Persian architecture, the landscaping is based on
Kashmiri water patterns and terrain. The Nishant Garden also offers breathtaking
panoramic views of the stunning Dal Lake, with the magnificent Zabarwan
Mountains as the perfect backdrop.
