Agumbe

                     If you wish to seek solitude for a couple of days and get away from the turmoil of urban life, removed from the teeming and over-sensationalized attractions, then this is exactly the place for you. Agumbe receives high rainfall and is rightly referred to as Southern Cherrapunji. A rainforest catches breath on the southern coasts of Karnataka, beautiful in  tranquility, but much more so with a retreating rainfall of August. Would you believe these are the greens you've never seen before? Agumbe is heaven for most animal species, with an impressive figure of all the exceptional medicinal plants growing here, unique to the region. Agumbe place is also denoted by the presence of another tremendous being, the King Cobra, which has made this yet; he has a home habitat in the abundance of this forest.
