Folklore Museum Mysore

                    Besides the numerous famous tourist places in Mysore, this Museum is a toast to folk art and craft from the different parts of Karnataka. It is located in the heart of Mysore city. Folklore Museum Mysore was Established in 1968. It is within the grounds of the University of Mysore and has been invaluable in the study of folk art and craft of the region.The Museum houses over 6,500 artifacts and boasts an interesting exhibition of dolls, theatrical costumes, headgear, and other accessories used in folk drama, an integral performance of folk art.
