Jog Falls

                    Jog Falls is considered to be the second-highest fall in India. Formed where Sharavathi river flows from a height of about 253ft, this lovely sight is extraordinary. Jog Falls is the most beautiful destination among Shimoga tourist places. This waterfall has four major and notable falls: Raja Falls, Roarer Falls, Rocket Falls, and Rani Falls.After descending about 1,400 steps, you can also view the waterfalls from the opposite end. It is located in Sagar Taluk, one of the very famous tourist places near Shimoga. The entire area surrounding this fall is covered by greenery, which gives the waterfalls even more beautiful backdrops
