KRS Dam

                    This city of palaces is best known for the Krishna Raja Sagara Dam  Mysore and the Mysore Palace. Built in 1924, the latter is one of the major tourist attractions near Mysore. Almost all tourists who make it to the palace in Mysore visit the KRS dam and refresh themselves in its soothing atmosphere. The Dam is also honored to be the first irrigation dam in India.
