Kuttanad Backwaters

                         Not just one of the best places to visit in Alleppey, the Kuttanad Backwaters cannot be confined within a place frame; it is a phenomenon. A fabulous lagoon surrounded by the beauty of lakes, rivers, canals, misty mountains, and almost otherworldly landscapes.This experience of floating along pristine backwaters on a houseboat is not explainable. You would have to live it to know it! The place is known as the 'Rice Bowl of Kerala' for its stunning rice plantations. If you are in Alleppey for a day, this place should be your entire itinerary.
