Areekkal Waterfalls In Kochi

                    This is a little Areekkal waterfall worth a visit during the monsoon season as the fall is in its glory, and white cascading water is gushing from atop. Areekkal waterfall area is surrounded by thick foliage and a dense rubber plantation, offering a decent picnic spot among the locals. Adventure seekers and bikers frequent this scenic place for their love of nature and some long drives on their bikes in the outskirts. It is recommended to pack food in case one plans to stay for long, as there are hardly any eateries; however, one may mind occasional toddy shops selling local beverages with pride.
