Gowreeswara Temple Cherai
Built-in 1912, this popular temple in Kochi is dedicated to Lord Murugan,
also called the South Pazhani. The idol was installed by Sree Narayana Guru and is the
only temple in Asia that is a Chaturmukha Kovil, which means four side doors.
The Lord Subramanya faces east, Lord Ganapati faces south, Lord
Shiva faces west, and Goddess Parvati faces north. Four daily pujas are
conducted to the deities, Usha Pooja, Pantheeradi Pooja, Uchiha Pooja, and
Agatha Pooja, where panchamrutam and Pushpanjali are offered.

Timings: 5.00 AM to 11.30 AM and 5.00 PM to 8.00 PM daily.
