Manickamangalam Temple in kochi
This is dedicated to Goddess Durga. According to legends, Sivaguru, the temple priest, could not go there himself and sent Sankara instead with a measure of milk as an offering to the Devi. Sankara noticed that even after the offering, the milk measure remained unchanged; hence, he started crying. The Devi took sympathy for him and drank the milk.
