Even though the water is muddy and not swim-friendly, this lighthouse's beauty to the Arabian Sea more than makes up for the deficiency.Payannakal, Putiyappa, Elathur, and Beypore beaches are all part of the very long stretch known as Kozhikode Beach. This beach lies on the city's western side and is quite accessible through the city's four roads.

Time: This beach is open to tourists all day long from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M., as early in the morning, one can see the real-life dolphin shows taking place.
