Tali Temple

                    Famous for being the oldest Shiva temple in Kozhikode, Tali Temple is a tourist’s delight. With intricately designed artistic stone sculptures and wooden carvings, the temple is surrounded by a huge expanse of a pond. The temple conducts five different religious functions, and devotees throng the place to take holy dips in the pond during that time. At evening prayers, one can rest on the steps and appreciate the tranquillity of the beautiful pond. The temple visitors are directed to the temple’s peripheral area for sightseeing as part of the tour. As a pilgrim, do not forget to dip in the temple pond, as it enhances the holiness of the temple and is a beautiful sight.
