Panchalimedu In Munnar

                    Panchalimedu is another town close to the city, and the town gets its name from a legend: Panchalimedu  In Munnar is accepted that Pandavas are incomplete here during their time of outcast. One of the caverns here is taken to have the impression of Bhima, and a lake here is named Patanjali Kulam, the lake where the spouse of Pandavas, Panchali, used to shower. The environment here is cold, and an energetic breeze unsettles you as you arrive at the spot. It is said that even the ocean can be seen from here when the sky is clear. The place is a decent vacationer location in Idukki.
