Shakthan Thampuran Palace In Thrissur

                    Built in a pretty Dutch style, Shakthan Thampuran Palace is a must-visit. Shakthan ThampuranPalace features in almost all lists of Thrissur tourist places. The then-King Ramavarma Thampuram of Cochin built it in 1795 in place of Vadakkekara Palace.2005, the palace was turned into a museum with several relics and old antiques. One of the favourites of many art lovers, this two-story complex has high roofs and walls thicker than the usual lot, and Italian Marble adorns the floors, making it a place straight out of a traveller's dream.
