Vilangankunnu In Thrissur

                    The Paramekkavu Bhagavathy Temple—which holds the record as the largest temple for Vaishnavi in the state—is also a very interesting tourist destination near Thrissur. Paramekkavu Bhagavathy Temple also actively participates in the temple festival of Thrissur Pooram celebration, in which, among many activities, 15 elephants march in a processional order from Paramekkavu temple to Vadakkumnathan temple.Its popularity is due to its proximity to the Thrissur Railway Station. Almost one thousand years old, this temple is visited by thousands of people during a state festival.
