Padmanabhapuram Palace
Padmanabhapuram Palace is a monument in all its glory, standing 64 kilometers from Thiruvananthapuram near Thuckalay. The palace, which has a history from the 16th century, is an artist’s utopia. This captivating tower has a certain aura. Padmanabhapuram Palace is among the best specimens of Kerala and has beautiful rosewood carvings in the ceilings filled with amazing pictures. Decorated beautifully, the palace has colored mica windows, antiques, and Chinese carvings adorning its walls. The ceilings have 90 different floral designs, and the Durbar Hall has a glossy floor. Pictures of Lord Krishna, brass lanterns, mural paintings, and a poster medicinal bed add beauty to the King's bedroom. Details like earthen urns, a swimming bath, a dance hall, fish carvings on ceilings, Belgian mirrors, 17th and 18th-century frescoes, and the Saraswati Temple sum up a pleasant structure.
visiting time:The palace is open each day from 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM. Of great note, visitation is not allowed on Mondays.
