Karapuzha Dam
In the heart of Kerala lies the largest earthen dam in India, the Karapuzha Dam, crafted artfully on the Karapuzha River. The Karapuzha Dam, built in the cradle of verdant tropics and picturesque farmlands, primarily aims to supply these regions with water. Enormously, it took 25 years to construct this dam, from 1977 to 2004, and it is one of the best tourist attractions near Wayanad, Kerala. At the same time, the Karapuzha Dam is the perfect place to spend a day relaxing with family and friends, comprising beautiful scenery. Also, it serves unhealthy resorts for picnics and photo shoots between 9:00 A.m. and 5:00 p.m.
