                    Hanuman Theertham is a famous place situated in the Dharmapuri district of Tamil Nadu. This is a very auspicious place as this place has a very strong connection with the Ramayana. The place is closely being associated with the Theerthagirishwarar Temple and is located 55 km from Uthangarai. One who visits the Theerthamalai would visit this place as it is being located quite in the same area. The place is very famous as a picnic spot as thousands do come all over the year to this temple with friends and family. The temple is situated on the banks of the river South Pennar. According to Hindu mythology, it is a belief that Lord Hanuman threw away a vessel of Ganga water in this particular place. There is a spring in the place, and the water flows from the rock. The water is very sweet in nature, and it is true that this water never dries up even when the river is dry.
