Doddabetta Peak

                    Doddabetta Peak has had its spot in the tourist attractions in Ooty for a long time. This trekking site is incredibly picturesque, providing enthralling views from the top. The apex of the Doddabetta Peak, located at 2623 meters, is surrounded by mountains and is the highest in Nilgiris. It is located about 10 kilometers from Ooty at the point of the western and eastern ghats. The rich flora and fauna surrounding this area make this place even more attractive. If anyone wishes to view it from nearby, up there is a telescope house with a couple of telescopes viewing the lush valley around. People who love adventure also find this destination a fabulous trekking trail.
