                    The Sungai Kinabatangan River is the longest in the state of Sabah, which situated in Malaysia. Sungai Kinabatangan is indeed a picturesque river that impresses most if not all, tourists. Kicking off from the east, the river flows for approximately 560 kilometers, making it the second-longest river in Malaysia.Sungai Kinabatangan accordingly flows into the Sulu Sea.

 Highlights – The riparian woodlands extending along the watercourse are host to approximately ten species of primates (for instance, orangutan, Borneo gibbon, short-tailed macaque, slow loris, etc.), which makes it the sole region in Sabah possessing these species. Similarly, Kinabatangan has several wildlife reserves, limestone caves, freshwater forests, dry land forests, mangrove forests, oxbow lakes, and many others.

 Timing – April to October, as many birds and mammals can be spotted here.
